Delegation from Trinidad and Tobago completes specialized training at the Canadian Police College
From October 28 to November 13, 2024, the Canadian Police College (CPC) proudly welcomed a delegation of law enforcement officers and public prosecutors from Trinidad and Tobago to its Ottawa Campus for specialized training on combatting online child sexual exploitation.
This initiative, delivered in collaboration with the United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), highlights the CPC's commitment to international capacity building. The delegation participated in two courses: the Digital Technologies for Investigators Course (DTIC) and the Canadian Internet Child Exploitation Course (CICEC). Together, these programs provided participants with advanced tools, techniques, and investigative strategies vital to tackling Internet Child Exploitation.
The success of this program was made possible by the dedication of the participants, the expertise of CPC instructors, and the contribution of resource personnel. The CPC also took special care to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for the delegation, helping to make their learning experience memorable.
